Interactive Media
Final Project: ELL presentation
Skills Acquired: Adobe Captivate
Reflection
My final project was on teaching ELLs the difference between the present progressive and the present. I incorporated drag and drop activities, sentence-building grammar, and informative slides. The video link in the beginning no longer works and I cannot fix it until I can work in Adobe Captivate again. I incorporated my knowledge as a language teacher to create the presentation exercises and incorporated different types of exercises.
S.2.5 ETHICS
Candidates design and select media, technology, and processes that emphasize the diversity of our society as a multicultural community.
Web Programming
Final Project: Immigrant Website for St. Augustine
Skills Acquired: Responsive Web Design, Advanced HTML, Javascript
Reflection
This website was developed for a developing multicultural community, to welcome immigrants to the City of St. Augustine and familiarize them with the culture and education of our city. This was designed entirely in HTML, using CSS and Javascript for interactivity. One of the aspects I enjoyed most about this course was learning about Responsive Web Design. That is crucial in today’s mobile world.
